Help and docs for the new commands
- /help is sent as a few messages (Discord caps an embed at 6000 characters), with a test for the limits - command reference, features, self-hosting, beta and getting-started pages describe the commands; the SQL section is gone - development and contributing: every setting needs a command Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <[email protected]>

Velox is a Discord bot written in Go, backed by PostgreSQL. It covers server security (anti-raid and anti-nuke), support tickets, moderation, leveling, music, meeting rooms, scheduling, Twitch alerts and a few games. Every module is off until a server turns it on.

**This repository is the bot, and it is the only open source part of Velox.** The web dashboard and its API, which the hosted Velox uses, are separate proprietary software and are not part of this repository or its license. The bot does not need them: everything in the [command reference](docs/commands.md) works on its own, with PostgreSQL as its only dependency.

**This repository is the bot, and it is the only open source part of Velox.** The web dashboard and its API, which the hosted Velox uses, are separate proprietary software and are not part of this repository or its license. The bot does not need them. Every setting and every action is a slash command (see the [command reference](docs/commands.md)), with PostgreSQL as its only dependency.

The dashboard and the bot meet in the database. The dashboard writes settings and requests into tables, and the bot reads them (and is woken through Postgres `NOTIFY` where it has to react at once). Those tables are documented, so you can change the same settings with SQL, or build your own tool on top. See [Architecture](docs/architecture.md) and [Database](docs/database.md).
